Week 14 Waiver Wire

Week 14 Waiver Wire Pickups

By Michael Visconti December 6th, 2016

Welcome to the playoffs! If you are reading this, you must be still alive in your respective leagues. There is not much else out there in way of great pickups, however I encourage you to use our weekly rankings for the best matchup starts for the rest of the year.

Also please look at our “watch list”. These are players to stash for the playoffs should you have the bench spot. Although the reality is that if you have that type of bench spot available you probably aren’t going to make the playoffs anyway.

Quarterbacks

At this stage of the year rather than suggesting a rest of the way Quarterback pickup we will be offering our best streamers in order of our weekly standard rankings. Here are the stream options for Week 14:

Joe Flacco @ NE
Ryan Tannehill MIA vs. ARI
Colin Kaepernick SF vs. NYJ
Eli Manning NYG vs. DAL

Running Backs

Kenneth Dixon BAL – Ken Dixon carried the ball 6 times for 56 yards and 4 catches for 21 yards on 4 targets. Not the volume we were hoping, but he did not disappoint with his averages. Look for him to put in some good work during the playoffs.

Jerick McKinnon MIN – He is not very exciting but his workload is expanding, 9 carries and 6 targets
Watch List – Mike Gilleslie BUF, Jalen Richard OAK, Christine Michael GB, Kenjon Barner PHI, Rex Burkhead CIN, DeAngelo Williams PIT, Alex Collins SEA, Shaun Draughn SF

Wide Receiver

Pierre Garcon WAS – This offense is hit or miss as to what 2 of 3 wide receivers have good games each week. This week it was Pierre.

Ted Ginn Jr. CAR – Ted went 5 for 80 and a TD and has been getting enough targets to tell me this is sustainable for the rest of the way.

Malcolm Mitchell NE – With Gronk and Amendola out Mitchell has found himself as a target monster in the Patriots offense. Big win for the playoffs, right? He will certainly be the biggest add of the week, and I would be nervous that he disappears for a game during the playoffs in typical Belichek fashion. Still, Malcolm is an incredible pick-up at this point in the season.

Jermaine Kearse SEA – It is either him or Lockett, but the fact is that Kearse has been much more consistent this year over Tyler.

Watch List – Dontrelle Inman SD, Robby Anderson NYJ, Paul Turner PHI

Tight End

Ladarius Green PIT – Woah! We told you this game was coming; it only took until Week 14. He is going to get a lot of work over the next 4 weeks. Get him if you can.

Watch List – Josh Hill NO, Jermaine Gresham STL
